  United Spirits 1985 - 1996 (© USM Productions

Jamie Golton and Myself met at Islington Green Secondary School in Islington, London, England

and worked on several school projects together in various different bands. We continued to Write and Produce music together and formed our own Production Company and Studio by the name of USM Productions, USM being a derivative of  United Spirits Management.

All lyrics were written by me as well as performing all the vocals.

We called ourselves United Spirits because we had so much spirit when it came to writing and producing together and seriously had nothing to do with drinking too much! Although in all fairness, Jamie could have drank for England in the Olympics if there had of been such an event.  We wrote and produced a hell of a lot in our time together and was proud of what we achieved in creating original work for use in Television and Film.

Anyway enough about us (no pun intended) Below you will find snippets of some of our original songs spanning 1985 - 1996 some were used in TV and Film and some have never been heard outside of our studios or close knit family and friends. I hope you enjoy them as much as I know we did writing and producing them.

Several Radio Shorts 1994 © Chris Francis

I wrote and recorded many ideas I had for Radio Shorts containing many different short radio monologues set to audio. One of the pieces (A Victim Of Circumstance) was written for a good friend of mine David Foster to perform as a monologue for his auditions, whilst all the others were for myself to also perform at auditions.

At the moment I am re-considering continuing what i started back in 1994 and to finally see about getting these transmitted on the UK Radio Broadcasts. Below you can hear snippets of the original 1994 recordings.

A Victim Of Circumstance

The Walls Have Ears

Business As Usual

Jinxed - Radio Short 1995 © Chris Francis

I wrote and recorded an idea I had for a series of radio shorts in 1995 . The Project was named Jinxed about a guy who was born on Friday the 13th.

The short is told from his eyes with the sound effects to help the audience in vision it all as the story is told. At the moment i am considering writing some more of this series for transmission on the UK Radio Broadcasts. Below you can hear a snippet of the original 1995 recording.

  PSX Music 2000 Demonstrations 1999

I was asked back in 1999 by a friend if I could produce a demonstration of songs composed on Music 2000 Devolved by Jester Interactive and Published by Codemasters.

I decided to do cover songs adapting the composition and style as far away from the originals as possible using Music 2000, Korg M1 Keyboard, Sony Minidisc,  Phillips Home CD Recorder and a Fender Mixer Amp with Microphone. You can find snippets of them below, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.
