I was born in 1969 and have been
involved in professional work in
acting and general entertainment from a child. My middle name is Francis so it made sense
to use it as a stage name as it had a better sound to it then my
real surname.
As a young child I started acting with the Anna Scher Children
Theatre in Islington, London, England, and over the years was involved with
professional work in both acting and singing productions under the name of
Chris Francis until mid 1990's.
I was
also a part of a production team named USM Productions with my writing
partner Jamie Golton. USM Productions were involved in writing and performing
original pieces of incidental and full songs to be used in TV programs and
Films. We also performed quite a few live performances with our original
written songs as well as cover songs we gave the USM treatment. I also did a lot of Cabaret performances
in London and the
Isle Of Wight where I would perform old standards from Matt Monro,
Frank Sinatra to the most modern that was around in that day. Whilst doing
all of this, I had a regular job with a well known London Evening Newspaper.
I got married in November 1998
and my wife Sarah and myself moved to the Isle Of Wight to be close to
family in December 2000 where we still live at present.
I was always called a Gentleman by friends over the years and
decided to use the name Gent Francis for the name of this site, as well as being one of my
favourite Belgian Towns as my family are of Belgian descent.
At the moment I am working with
Royal Mail as a 'Postman' here on the Isle Of Wight and loving my life.
You can find all Projects i have
been involved with on the Projects Page.
I would also like to take this
opportunity to thank my Wife, Family and Friends for all their love and
support over the years, and thank you for browsing this site.
